Terms and Conditions

By booking a cleaning service with Alta Summit Cleaners, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and conditions. These policies are designed to ensure a clear understanding of the responsibilities and expectations between the client and Alta Summit Cleaners.
1. Booking, Pricing & Payment
All services must be booked in advance through our website, phone, or email. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and online transfers. Prices are based on the size of the home and the selected service package. Any additional services requested beyond the selected package must be pre-approved and paid for before the service begins.
If a home requires significantly more time or effort than estimated (for example, due to excessive clutter, post-party mess, or extreme dirt buildup), additional charges may apply. In such cases, the client will be notified before any additional charges are incurred.
An additional fee of $100 applies to homes with children or pets due to the extra cleaning and sanitization required. This fee covers deep sanitization of high-touch areas, pet hair removal, and the use of non-toxic, child-safe cleaning products.
2. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Show Policy
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid fees. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service will result in a charge of 50% of the total service cost. If the cancellation is made on the same day of the scheduled service or if our team arrives and is unable to access the property, the full amount of the service will be charged, and no refund will be issued.
If a client needs to reschedule a service, we will do our best to accommodate the new requested date and time, subject to availability. However, rescheduling within less than 24 hours of the original appointment may be treated as a cancellation and subject to the 50% fee.
3. Service Limitations & Exclusions
Alta Summit Cleaners provides professional cleaning services as outlined in the selected service package. We do not perform:
Heavy lifting or moving of furniture, appliances, or objects over 25 lbs.
Cleaning of hazardous materials, including but not limited to mold, bodily fluids, pest infestations, or biohazards.
Deep stain removal on carpets or upholstery beyond standard cleaning procedures.
Organizational services beyond basic tidying.
If a property requires an extreme level of cleaning that exceeds the scope of our services, we reserve the right to refuse service or charge additional fees.
4. Home Access, Security & Customer Presence
The client is responsible for ensuring our team has proper access to the property at the scheduled time. If the home is inaccessible upon our arrival due to locked doors, incorrect entry codes, or any other reason beyond our control, the appointment will be considered a same-day cancellation, and the full service amount will be charged.
Clients may choose to be present during the cleaning or provide secure entry instructions (e.g., key codes, lockboxes, or leaving a key in a designated place). Alta Summit Cleaners is not responsible for lost or misplaced keys. If we are provided with a key, it will be handled with the utmost security and returned as instructed.
5. Quality Assurance & Complaints
Our goal is to provide 100% customer satisfaction. If a client is unsatisfied with the service, they must notify us within 24 hours of the cleaning to request a re-clean or resolution. Complaints made after 24 hours will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Re-cleans will only be performed for areas originally included in the booked service.
We are not responsible for issues that arise due to factors beyond our control, such as pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or improper maintenance of household fixtures and appliances.
6. Liability & Damages
Alta Summit Cleaners takes the utmost care when cleaning a client’s home. However, we are not liable for pre-existing damage to surfaces, fixtures, or fragile items. Clients should secure any valuables, delicate items, or sentimental belongings before the cleaning service.
If accidental damage occurs due to our negligence, the client must report it within 24 hours. Alta Summit Cleaners carries insurance, and valid claims will be handled accordingly. However, we are not responsible for minor wear and tear that may occur over time due to normal cleaning activities.
7. Additional Fees & Adjustments
Alta Summit Cleaners reserves the right to charge additional fees if the home is in a significantly different condition than described at booking. If a home requires additional time, labor, or deep cleaning beyond the selected package, a price adjustment will be communicated to the client before proceeding.
The additional $100 fee for homes with children or pets will apply automatically at checkout if applicable. This charge reflects the additional sanitization, pet hair removal, and special care required to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
If a client requests extra services on the day of cleaning, such as appliance deep cleaning, carpet shampooing, or garage cleaning, the client must approve the additional cost before the service begins.
8. Right to Refuse Service
Alta Summit Cleaners reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if:
The cleaning environment is unsafe (e.g., aggressive pets, hazardous conditions).
The home is in extremely unsanitary conditions that exceed the scope of our services.
Clients engage in inappropriate, aggressive, or unsafe behavior toward our staff.
If service is refused or discontinued for any of the above reasons, no refund will be issued.
9. Privacy & Confidentiality
Alta Summit Cleaners respects our clients' privacy. Any personal information collected, including addresses, phone numbers, and entry codes, will be kept strictly confidential and used only for scheduling and service purposes. We do not share client information with third parties.
Our cleaners are trained to maintain professionalism and discretion while in a client’s home. If a client has any specific privacy requests, they should communicate them before the service begins.
10. Agreement to Terms
By proceeding with the checkout and booking a cleaning service, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. These policies are subject to change, and the most updated version will always be available on our website.
